Lea Farm Lake – 15+ Lapwing, Redshank in the north east shore the first since March, 40+ Common Tern nesting on 2 rafts plus 5-8 pairs on old shingle island (FJC)
Lavell’s Lake – 5 Oystercatcher 2 adults and 3 juveniles on bund, Cuckoo in large poplar, Cetti’s Warbler by path to hide (Alan Rymer)
White Swan Lake – 2 Reed Bunting in the reeds (Steve Clarke)

Lea Farm Lake – 10 Lapwing, Little Ringed Plover took off and flew over the hide, Cetti’s Warbler, Cuckoo (Nick Kightley)

Lea Farm Lake – 15+ Common Tern, 2 Gadwall, 2 Lapwing on the east shore, 3 Reed Warbler, Large numbers of Sand Martin (Heather Mahoney)

June 5th
Lea Farm Lake – 40 Common Tern approximately 20 or more pairs across 2 rafts and the shingle island, Cuckoo still calling, 9 Gadwall all males in the south west corner, Peregrine over low carrying prey heading east north east, Little Ringed Plover in the north east corner (FJC)

June 3rd
Lea Farm Lake – 20 Common Tern 16 sitting on a raft and 4 sitting on the old shingle Island (Geoff Emmett); 2 Stock Dove (Richard Marsh)

Lea Farm Lake – 22+ Common Tern 10 sitting on right hand raft 5 on the left hand and 4 pairs on the old shingle Island, 50+ Sand Martin feeding young at wall – see Fraser’s video, Kingfisher flew past hide barely 10 feet away, Cuckoo 2 still calling (FJC)
