Lea Farm GP – 16 Common Tern on shingle island, 30 Sand Martin approximately 27 holes in use, 4 Ring-necked Parakeet east side of landfill (FJC)
Sandford Lake – 3 Oystercatcher 2 adults and 1 juvenile on old tern island looks about a week or so old (FJC)

May 28th
Lea Farm GP – 3 Linnet in front of hide, Hobby hawking over the landfill (Brian Bennett), 6 Gadwall, 3 Reed Warbler, 3 Grey Wagtail 2 adults, then a lone juvenile, Oystercatcher, Cuckoo (Richard Marsh)

Lavell’s Lake – Greenshank on Tern scrape, Cuckoo in tallest Poplar tree, 2 Oystercatcher just flew in from east and landed on tern scrape (Trevor Guyatt)
Black Swan Lake – Common Sandpiper, 300+ Swallow (FJC)

Lea Farm GP – Common Sandpiper on shingle island (Bob Bennett), Cattle Egret (Geoff Emmett & FJC), left after 17 minutes, but re-found 16:45 (P O’Neill) and stayed until 19:54 (J McGowan), flew off North

Lavell’s Lake – 2 Cuckoo very visible, Hobby, Nightingale seen behind Teal Scrape, Sparrowhawk, Lesser Whitethroat rattling behind Tern Scrape (R Dawson), Greenshank on bund (R Dawson and Alan Rymer), Kingfisher (Gavin Turner)

Lavell’s Lake – Greenshank seen from Bittern hide (John McGowan et all), Little Egret, Nightingale singing from south side of island (Trevor Guyatt), Shelduck (Dave Rimes), Yellow Wagtail (Geoff Emmett)
Black Swan Lake – Nightingale flew across path; then sang in full view for a minute or two at bottom of peninsula near bridge to White Swan Lake (Peter Scudamore)
